As an experienced recruitment consultant trainer in Canada, Mark Whitby had a lot of knowledge and insight to bring when he relocated to beautiful Edinburgh in Scotland.

His goal was to use a number of marketing methods to announce his presence to the UK market for a maximum of 18 months. He figured that then he would be established and could cut back severely on marketing as his reputation would carry him through.

Objective Within 18 months, establish a brand and a reputation where telephone seminars and particularly face-to-face training could occur. The date is April 2003.

As in Canada, Mark's initial approach was through telephone seminars. They are inexpensive training courses carried out over an hour on the telephone. The initial price was for less than £40, although that rose to £50 over the course of the 18 months.

Mark's sole focus was the recruitment consultant industry. When he came to us, we have over 6,000 recruitment agents to target. At considerable expense to him, Mark gathered another 11,000 from other marketing companies. He trusted us to send the right message to them.
What were the results? We are pleased to say he completed his goal within the 18 months, even though he now has no need for us!

To date, Mark has trained over 150 UK recruitment consultancies, gaining lucrative work in one-to-one sessions with staff.

Although we're obviously sad he has not used us since 2004, we are delighted that this talented, bright man has achieved what he wanted, and that we helped him get there.

   
All figures given are based on customer correspondence with us. Email marketing is a form of advertising, and as with all advertising it can be successful as well as unsuccessful. We do not guarantee any level of response. On average, for every 1,000 email sent out, there are 1-2 opt outs, even fewer than fax broadcasting! When we receive an opt-out, we remove the number from all databases to ensure they are never emailed by us or the pool participants again.
