Objective Being mail-order specialists, our brief was to design and implement an email campaign which would stimulate as many phone calls as possible. We had to get their attention if they were in the mood for getting a new car.

This was a large campaign, targeting 40,000 companies with 10 or more staff by email. These are the types of companies likely to need more than one lease vehicle.
What were the results? The company's phones rang for days during this campaign. In order not to overstretch the staff, we arranged 4 lots of deliveries of 10,000 on Mondays and Wednesdays on two consecutive weeks.

The call centre handled around £300,000 worth of enquiries over the campaign and had an impressive closing rate.

All figures given are based on customer correspondence with us. Email marketing is a form of advertising, and as with all advertising it can be successful as well as unsuccessful. We do not guarantee any level of response. On average, for every 1,000 email sent out, there are 1-2 opt outs, even fewer than fax broadcasting! When we receive an opt-out, we remove the number from all databases to ensure they are never emailed by us or the pool participants again.
