A
weekly news service for English,
Literacy & Drama teachers
The EMN opt-in news service gets
news, information and offers to
English teachers, Literacy
teachers and Drama teachers. The
email is delivered directly into
the teacher's in-school email.
Why do
they choose to subscribe to the
service?
English, Literacy and Drama teachers get specific news
and information in their inbox.
The service does not recycle
Government PR or
stories from major education
publications and newspapers
creating an interesting and
unique read.
More
newsletter are delivered without
adverts than not
Subscribers to this service get
news and views on issues
affecting the teaching of
English, Literacy and Drama. Two
to three emails are sent a week
- only one will contain any
advertising.
There
is a defined style to the
newsletters
To ensure teachers' continued
loyalty to the service, there is
a written style to each
newsletter. Your advert will
have to fit into this style -
don't worry as we'll help you
with that.
Tracking the campaign
For an extra £15, we'll send you
through the click-through rates
so you can see how many English,
Literacy & Drama teachers went
to your website..
Response rates for the EMN
service are similar to standard
direct mailing campaigns. |

The
personal email service is fully
opted-in
English, Literacy and Drama
teachers who subscribe to this
service do so to receive one
email per week from companies
and organisations who will be
able to help them in their work.
This
service covers secondary schools
only
We hope to be able to cover
primary schools in the future,
but, as things stand, there are
no primary school subscribers to
the service.
The
email address is name@schoolname.sch.uk
The emails are delivered direct
to the work addresses of the
English, Literacy and Drama
teachers subscribing to the
service.
The
emails are structured for
maximum deliverability
Up to 60% of schools will not
allow graphical emails through
and many will not accept
attachments from non-recognised
senders. This service is text
only however we can write an
email for you to include your
logo for just £15 extra.
Full
visibility for results
As well as answering the phone
to English, Literacy and Drama
teachers who are interested,
full clickthrough and open rates
are included in the price.
Response rates are higher than
the preferred service and
significantly higher than
general email campaigns. |

This is
the service to get into schools
where there is a policy to
receive all inbound emails via
the school secretary
There are up to 2,000 schools
where this is the stated policy.
As with all types of marketing,
it's always best to mix your
approaches up to reach as many
potential buyers as possible.
You can reach 1,394 English,
Literacy and Drama teachers with
this method.
Secondary schools only on the
preferred service
There are plans to extend the
service to primary schools
however your emails would only
reach secondary schools.
The
teacher's name is in the subject
line
The email reaches the school's administrator
first. S/he will see
"Attention: Mr A Smith, Head of
English" in the subject line.
The secretary will see that it
is part of this service.
No
graphics or attachments, but you
can add your logo
It's more important for your
message to be read rather than a
load of graphics. Your website
is there for that. We can add
your logo for just £15 though.
Clickthroughs and open rates
reported to you
Understand better on how your
campaign has been received by
finding out what happened to it.
The
response rates for the preferred
emails are much higher than
generic emails, but less than
the EMN or personal service. |
